God provides!

Today we not only bought a new car, but also heard the final information from the insurance company! Thank you to everyone who was praying for us!
We bought a 2001 Toyota Sienna at a used car dealership in Gaithersburg, MD called Mehdi's Car Company. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a car! This was the best experience we've had looking for/buying any car! The dealer was a real person and although Gabriel was a bit shy at the beginning, by the time we left he was giving him hugs goodbye and let him carry him to the car! (It probably helped that the dealer gave Gabriel a toy Hummer to play with when he started screaming when Mike took the car for a test drive :) They also gave a two month/2000 mile warranty that covers 100% of anything that goes wrong. We thought that said a lot about their integrity.
Not only was the dealership great, but we also got a great deal! This was by far the best car that we looked at. It was practically spotless on the outside, the inside looks like it was never really sat in, and it runs great! It's hard for us to believe that it's really 6 years old because it looks so good! And it was definitely an act of God that this car was even still there and for such a good price. Mike asked the dealer about it, and here is the short version:
I think it was about 6 months ago when a woman put a $3000 hold on the car while she was waiting for financing to come through (she was from out of the country) and her hold lasted for over a month. During that time, several people looked at the car and would have bought it, but couldn't because there was a hold. Anyways, the deal fell through with this woman and once it was all settled, the car had been around the dealership for so long that the owner just wanted to get rid of it. Therefore, they reduced the price to what we gather was not too much more than they paid for it at auction, and that is how we were able to afford it (along with the money we're getting from the Civic). So God definitely answered those prayers starting back a long time ago! It is really amazing to see his provision since we have been really discouraged recently. He gave us a car far better than anything we imagined we could afford! It was also good for us to go see the few other cars we looked at that were pretty far away because it made us realize what a great deal God provided for us! And Gabriel even likes the car and didn't scream the first time we told him to get in it! Now I just have to get used to driving a mini-van...
