Where the Wild Things Are
If you've ever read 'Where the Wild Things Are' by Maurice Sendak, you may remember the pages in the middle that show the 'wild things' dancing and swinging on trees. When I was reading this book to Adalia today, I was a little worried the pictures might scare her a bit since I remember being a bit apprehensive about them when I was little, but these 'wild things' had quite the opposite affect on her. Instead of being at all scared, she kept leaning over and kissing their pictures in the book! I thought this was rather humorous and somewhat fitting since so far it appears as though Adalia is the most likely to be our 'wild child' since she already has quite a strong will of her own and likes to get into everything she is not supposed to. Let's just hope that she keeps her kissing to the 'wild things' in the book and not to any wild young men!
