Gabriel the techie two year old
This morning after breakfast the first thing Gabriel wanted to do (which is not uncommon) is go downstairs and watch a "choo choo mwie" as he says it. Knowing that he would probably want to watch several more movies throughout the day since it is always a battle, I purposefully put on a 35 minute Thomas video rather than an hour long one. About 45 minutes later, I realized that Gabriel was still watching a Thomas video and was rather perplexed, but thought that perhaps the video I had put in may not have been in the right box. About 10 minutes after I left to go shopping (all by myself for once!) Mike called and asked me which video I had put in for Gabriel. Apparently Gabriel had finished the one I had put in and put it on the floor and then helped himself to starting another, longer, Thomas movie since the one I had given him was obviously too short! I knew that he liked to push buttons on the VCR, but I didn't realize he had figured out exactly how to use it by himself!

oh my- that could be dangerous, or a blessing once you have this next one- just send him down and let him take care of himself for the day!
It's amazing what little ones can do so early.
Let me know if he figures out how to program the VCR, so he can come to my house and help me!
